Perched among the rolling hills and scenic lakes of Northern Michigan, The Manor at Fire Tower Hill is a breathtaking destination wedding venue rooted in rich local history and timeless natural beauty. The property traces its origins back to the 1930s, when the Civilian Conservation Corps constructed the Comstock Fire Tower in Lewiston as part of President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s New Deal initiatives. Once used for fire spotting and aircraft warnings during World War II, the hill eventually became home to a charming bed and breakfast before being transformed into the elegant wedding venue it is today. Owner Mary Ellen Aria, whose family has deep personal ties to the property, envisioned a place where couples could celebrate surrounded by panoramic lake views, peaceful forests, and the unmistakable charm of Northern Michigan.

The Manor at Fire Tower Hill offers a complete wedding weekend experience designed to be both luxurious and relaxing. The venue accommodates up to 180 guests and features multiple beautifully designed event spaces, including the Manor Hall with crystal chandeliers, a stunning reception hall with cathedral knotty pine ceilings, and the cozy Fire Tower Lounge for rehearsal dinners and gatherings. Couples and guests can also enjoy the private Overlook for intimate moments and the outdoor fire pit for evenings under the stars. The property includes nine elegantly appointed guest rooms with private baths and sweeping views of East Twin Lake, creating a true destination atmosphere for weddings and retreats. Amenities such as bridal suites, farmhouse tables, Chiavari chairs, décor rentals, and onsite coordination services allow couples to personalize their celebration while enjoying a seamless planning process from start to finish.

What truly distinguishes The Manor at Fire Tower Hill is its deeply personal and stress-free approach to hospitality. Every couple receives a dedicated Day-of Coordinator to oversee logistics and ensure every detail is flawlessly executed, allowing families and guests to fully enjoy the celebration. The venue has also expanded its offerings with décor rental packages and upcoming renovations that will transform the Rustic Shack into a romantic Couples Cabin for 2026. Beyond weddings, the Manor remains connected to the local community by hosting seasonal indoor markets that support local vendors and small businesses. As the team looks ahead to the 2025 season, they are most excited about continuing to create unique, beautiful, and unforgettable wedding experiences that reflect the individuality of every couple who celebrates there.
